Tour Itinerary - 7 days & 6 nights
Day 1 – Arrive Montreal
Welcome to Montreal. A city of sophistication and style, where the
restaurant guide is required reading, where fashion calls home and the
shopping is hard to beat. Your package provides a transfer from the
airport to your choice of hotel. The Fairmont Queen Elizabeth is one of
Montreal’s premier hotels. The Fairmont Queen Elizabeth is known for
excellent service, and is conveniently located above the rail station
and the underground city. The Marriott Chateau Champlain is located in
the heart of Montreal’s vibrant downtown and is just steps away from Old
Montreal; successfully bridging the old with the new. The staff at
either hotel will be waiting to assist you with your check-in.
Overnight – Montreal
Days 2 & 3 – Montreal at leisure
If this is your first visit to Montreal, your sightseeing tour will
show you the city’s history and her amazing achievements. You will also
begin to realize why people love living in Montreal. Your visit takes
you to the top of Mount Royal, and through neighbourhoods with splendid
houses and a striking view of downtown Montreal and the St. Lawrence
River. Also atop Mount Royal is St. Joseph's Oratory, one of the most
visited shrines in the world. On the way to Olympic Park, you will pass
through some of Montreal's earliest neighbourhoods with stairways that
have a very interesting history. Notre-Dame Basilica is beautiful and an
exceptional example of Gothic Revival architecture. Old Montreal,
located along the shores of the St. Lawrence River, leads into the Old
Port - One of the largest redeveloped old ports in the world. Visit
Bonsecours Market and City Hall in this area. If you want to explore on
your own, you will find that it is easy to use the underground system or
stroll Montreal’s streets that are full of energy and atmosphere.

Day 4 – Montreal to Quebec City
Today you board VIA Rail for your train journey to Quebec City. If
this is your first visit to Quebec City be warned, you will want to come
back again and again. To put it in perspective, take everything that you
love about Paris and Rome, plus the charm of Mackinac Island; and that
comes close to what Quebec City is like. It seems that everything you
want to do or see is within easy walking distance. The charm of the
streets and buildings in the Petit Champlain are reason enough to visit,
but the shops offer items that are unique to Quebec. Many things are
designed and made right in the shops. Horse-drawn carriages, sidewalk
cafes, street entertainers, brightly-colored buildings, flowers and a
warm welcome, all add to your enjoyment of this wonderful city.
Your choice of either the beautiful Fairmont Chateau Frontenac or the
lovely Manoir Victoria, will guarantee a delightful stay in romantic
“Old Quebec”. The Fairmont Chateau Frontenac is an intricate part of the
city’s history, not to mention that they wrote the book on service and
style! The Manoir Victoria offers European charm with an enjoyable
atmosphere.
Overnight – Quebec City
Days 5 & 6 – Quebec City at Leisure
We have included a city sightseeing tour, so that you will visit the
city’s major sightseeing attractions and learn of her fascinating

lunch or a bike ride. This vast area is now set aside as a park and is a
treasure. You will visit the Latin Quarter, the Ramparts, the National
Assembly, the Basilica, City Hall, Place Royal and the Citadelle.
Once you are done sightseeing, it is time to enjoy Quebec City’s
