Day 1- Arrive Vancouver …- VIA Rail Vancouver to Jasper
You should schedule your arrival into Vancouver by 2PM, to allow for flight delays. (If you would feel more comfortable arriving a day early, please let us know and we can adjust your arrival day and book you an extra night in Vancouver.  Rates are available upon request).  Your train departs at 5:30 this evening, and VIA Rail asks that you check in by 4:30PM.  Nothing shows you Canada like a trip on the train.  Your bedroom is VIA Rail’s “top of the line” accommodation.  Your sitting room by day converts to upper and lower berths at night.  Once aboard the train, the staff will see you settled into your room.  As a Silver and Blue Service passenger, your fare provides all meals, use of the lounges and access to the skyline car for spectacular viewing.  Overnight - Spent aboard VIA Rail

Day 2 - Enroute to Jasper
You will wake this morning to the beauty of the Canadian Rockies, as you continue your rail journey to Jasper.  The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge is wilderness luxury at its finest.  When you arrive, the staff of the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge will be at the station to greet you and take you to the lodge.  Overnight – Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge

Day 3 & 4 - Jasper at Leisure
Bring your winter duds, as your accommodations in Jasper are in log cabins located throughout the grounds.  The main lodge has a huge fireplace where a warm and welcoming fire is always there to greet you.  During your stay, venture out and skate on Lac Beauvert, enjoy down hill or cross country skiing; see rivers frozen in time, should you choose a guided tour of Maligne Canyon.  One of the most awe-inspiring sights of winter is the frozen beauty of waterfalls such as Angle Falls and Queen of the Maligne; winter turns their cascades into delicate sculptures beyond any human artisan’s skill.  Dining at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge is a delicious and romantic experience.  OverNights – Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge

Day 5 – VIA Rail Jasper to Vancouver
You have most of the day to enjoy the sights and sounds of Jasper, but by now most train buffs will be anxious for another ride on the train.  Your train departs this afternoon at 3:30PM, and a transfer to the rail station has been arranged.  Let us know if you would like an early transfer so you can see a bit of Jasper before boarding your train.  Once on board, find a seat in the domed skyline car.  The scenery out of Jasper is breathtaking.   As always, the VIA Rail staff will ensure your comfort and enjoyment as you travel from Jasper to Vancouver.  Overnight – VIA Rail Sleeper Car

Day 6 – Arrive Vancouver
Your train is scheduled to arrive into Vancouver at 7:50AM. Take a taxi from the station to the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, where the staff will assist with your check in arrangements.  Due to your early arrival, your room may not be available for check in.  If that is the case, leave your bags with the bellman and set out to explore Vancouver.    The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver is one of Vancouver’s most beautiful hotels, yet they have a way of making you feel right at home!  Enjoy this beautiful hotel.
Overnight – Fairmont Hotel Vancouver

Day 7 – Vancouver Home
